Emulsion stability: Diagnosed phase separation traced to an emulsifier/electrolyte mismatch rather than the preservative system originally suspected — corrected by adjusting the emulsifier blend and re-validating under accelerated stability conditions.
Rheology correction: Diagnosed a thickening polymer overdose causing inconsistent viscosity between batches, and re-balanced the rheology system to give a stable, repeatable texture at production scale.
pH-sensitive actives: Buffered a niacinamide-containing formula to prevent gradual yellow discolouration over shelf life, preserving both the active's efficacy and the product's appearance.
Haircare range development: Developed a complete shampoo, conditioner, and serum line as a coordinated system rather than three standalone products, aligning conditioning agents across the range for consistent results.

Formulation scope varies enormously — a single troubleshooting consult is a very different engagement from developing a full product line. Pricing is quoted per project after a brief discovery call. There's no charge for the initial conversation.
